Panobook 2011 entries

Today we submitted our entries for Panobook 2011, an annual publication of the best panoramas from around the world from amateurs and professionals. Last year, our Skate Tunnel shot was choosen and even had the honor of being the last picture in the book. This year, we've submitted another three shots for consideration. The first is a shot taken in the early hours, capturing the dawn over French Creek Harbour in Parksville, BC. We also included an older shot that was recently revisited, an abstract view of underneath a railway bridge in the Don Valley in Toronto, Ontario. Lastly, and the most recent of the three, is a shot we just took on our road trip to Alberta and back. Underneath a particularily beautiful, and large, one lane bridge in Pritchard, BC. This is the first shot we've released in our upcoming "weird places to wake up" series.

Bad Cartridge posts

It's a rainy day in Vancouver, which generally means people bunker down indoors to stay warm and dry. If you're one of these people, and you love video games and culture, consider heading over the Bad Cartridge for some amusement. Lately, I've posted nice art, video game's collision with real life, music videos, lols on the internetz, leaked Halo Legends videos, and much much more. Hope these help you get through the afternoon... or at least the next hour.

Panobook 2010

We have the honor of being published in Panobook 2010; a yearly collection of a wide variety of panoramic photography. It's quite comprehensive of the panorama genre of photography, full of talented photographers and gorgeous pictures. Definitely worth checking out.

Vancouver's Largest Waterfight

This weekend the largest waterfight of the year took place in Stanley Park thanks to Flash Mob Vancouver. It was an hour of pure fun, laughter, and water. I documented the event on a tiny Fujifilm Finepix Z; a convenient and fun little camera for being on the run.

Nostalgic Game Evolution

A new post over at Bad Cartridge, with a teaser for what looks to be an interesting documentary about addiction to MMORPGs.
